When ever I see a Dj spinning with vinyl I have to give props, like I would to an artist that uses a paint brush. Big up Zigfreds (a bar in Shorditch square, London) for keeping the art alive.

Technology is moving fast but although I have stacks of records on vinyl and some really old, don’t miss having to keep your hand really steady to stop the record from scratching and wear and tear from when you played it over and over, but preferable to the cassette any day.
I miss how delicate records were. One had to take real pride in protecting and caring for their music or it would chip, break, warp. There was a different level of appreciation. But I will take an ipod over that anyday ;P
I’ve been collecting music from the time I was a kid when I was brake dancing way back in the dayz. I still have the album from Alexandra Oneal with innocent and If You Were Here Tonight. Also have Skeletons by Stevie Wonder, and Dang let me see. Umm, I have that album with Janet Jackson on it singing Making love in the rain. Now that was my jam. Big time. lol

I know a couple DJ’s here in FL that spin with Vinyl, and I think it’s so cool. Anyone can use a computer, it takes skills to do it with the vinyl. Stay true to your art all you DJ’s out there.
